I have lived in Upminster for nearly 40 years and it is in the London Borough of. havering; it's therefore part of Greater London. A lot of people get confused with postal addresses though. For example, Middlesex hasn't existed as a county since the 1970's, but many postal addresses still use it!

saw lots of people smiling and wearing glitter make up at west ham station - thought they hadn't been to the boxing like me
seemed a much more pleasant/attractive crowd

Re: We are FESTVL
Went on Saturday and spent most of the time in the Clockwork tent as I know a few of their crew, glad they’ve got a tent as a nice contingent in there are of a certain age. Having their own bar was a massive bonus as was having backstage passes. Had a wonder round most stages but being up on stage while Kenny dope and Louie Vega played and then having a good chat with them afterwards was a massive highlight for me as they are proper legends.
Third year I’ve been, best laugh I;ve had but it felt like the organisers were trying to rip more money from people this year.

It's in havering which is a Romford borough so technically is in London. A bit like Romford

the shuttle buses on the way home were a mare for some. wasn't for me, but for others

and the vip area ran out of booze and bog roll, basically the only reason you'd wanna go vip are for the bogs

i had a blinder tho, the clockwork orange tent had a bar in it that hardly anyone used so i just kept going to there for my drinks

Re: We are FESTVL
They had more security at the VIP entrance checking wristbands than helping the bus situation after. Traffic gridlocked everyone knocked down the fencing and got on any bus there. Everyone decided to walk down the lanes instead, people pissing on people's drives, groups of girls walking down the dark lanes anything could have happend was absolute carnage after.

Re: We are FESTVL
I heard it was a shambles.
Many artists dropping out, badly communicated set-times, piss poor VIP extras.
Not helped by the organizers turning on the only one of their own who knew what he was doing.

I don't think anyone I saw was over 22/23, though was hard to tell through the fake tan.

Re: We are FESTVL
Well I got the train up to Uominster on Saturday morning to go and see my parents and I've seriously never seen so many orange blokes in all of my life. Ridiculous looking cunts.

And the oompah loompah women on show were also it seemed in a competition to see who could wear the smallest shorts, though guessing this is a festival thing, as most looked horrendous with their flabby arse cheeks hanging out of them.

Would appear that I've been right to avoid festivals thus far, as they are attended by utter knobs.

And Horrendous = I obvioulsy still would.
